The current law (The end of life vehicle regulations 2003) now requires that all end of life vehicles (ELV's)
that are being disposed of must be presented to an Authorised Treatment Facility in order that the vehicle is environmentally
treated and that it is de-registered electronically with the DVLA and officially registered as "Scrapped". This is vital to the last
registered keeper as it is an absolute assurance that you won't get any more tax demands,
SORN notice reminders from the DVLA or visits from the Police.
If you have a end of life vehicle (ELV) we will take
it and take over all legal responsibility and we will deal with any future issues.
We will also issue you with a Certificate of Destruction (CoD), this is your proof of legal disposal and
can only be issued by an Authorised Treatment Facility.
